By accessing or using EarthquakeAlert (地震实时播报, "the Service"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

The Service provides real-time global earthquake reports and alert information, sourced from public authoritative channels such as the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). The Service is for reference and auxiliary notification only. It does not constitute an official earthquake early-warning system and cannot replace formal warnings or emergency guidance issued by competent authorities. Always rely on official local announcements and prepare in advance.

2. Account and User Obligations

• You are responsible for the authenticity and security of your account and must not use another person's account.
• You should ensure that your emergency contact information is accurate and valid.

3. Membership Subscription

• Advanced features (custom magnitude, monitored regions, more emergency contacts, priority support, etc.) require a membership (Silver or Gold).
• Membership is billed monthly or yearly from the date of activation.
• Payments are processed via WeChat Pay, Alipay, or Creem. Except where required by law, virtual membership is generally non-refundable once activated; disputes may be resolved with customer support.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or disruptive activities.
• Do not reverse-engineer, scrape in bulk, or commercially abuse the Service.

5. Disclaimer

• Earthquake data may be delayed due to collection or transmission and we do not guarantee absolute real-time accuracy.
• We are not liable for alerts not delivered in time due to network, device, or third-party service (including payment and SMS/email channels) issues.
• The Service must not be the sole basis for life-safety decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The text, code, and design of this website are owned by the operator. Reproduction or commercial use without permission is prohibited.

8. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Revised terms take effect upon publication on the website.

9. Governing Law and Contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes should be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, they shall be submitted to the competent court in the operator's location.
